Psychotherapy and Counselling For Youth
We are dedicated to providing exceptional online and in-person psychotherapy and counseling services tailored specifically for youth aged 4-21 years old. At the Core Centre, we understand the unique challenges and developmental needs that young individuals face, and our team of experienced and compassionate therapists is here to support their mental and emotional well-being. Our in-person sessions are designed for youth who are 4 to 21 years old; whereas online session are recommended for youth who are minimum 6 years of age.
Our Approach
At the Core Centre, we believe in a holistic approach to mental health, recognizing that each young person is unique and requires personalized care. Our team of licensed therapists specializes in various therapeutic modalities, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and more. This diverse range of approaches allows us to adapt our methods to best suit the individual needs of each youth we serve.
Comprehensive Services
Our psychotherapy and counseling services cover a wide range of issues commonly faced by youth, including anxiety, depression, school-related stress, family dynamics, peer relationships, and identity exploration. Whether your child is experiencing challenges in their academic life, struggling with emotional regulation, or navigating the complexities of adolescence, the Core Centre is here to provide a supportive and confidential space for them to explore, express, and grow.
Tailored for Each Age Group
We recognize that the needs of a 4-year-old may differ significantly from those of a 21-year-old. Our therapists are trained to work with specific age groups, employing developmentally appropriate strategies to ensure effective communication and engagement. From the early years of childhood to the transitional phase of adolescence, we offer targeted interventions that foster healthy emotional development and resilience.
Family Involvement
We understand the importance of a collaborative approach to mental health. In addition to working directly with youth, our therapists often involve parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process. We provide guidance and support for families to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and create a nurturing environment for the youth in our care.
Confidential and Safe Environment
At the Core Centre, confidentiality and safety are paramount. We have created a warm and inviting space where youth can feel comfortable expressing themselves without judgment. Our therapists are committed to creating a trusting relationship with each client, fostering an environment where they can explore their thoughts and feelings openly.
